What size tablecloth do I need?
What size tablecloth do I need and how to calculate a tablecloth size are the two most frequently asked questions we hear. A "standard" dining drop is anywhere from 6" to 12" unless for a formal occasions where the tablecloth covers the entire table to just above the floor.
How To Measure:
First, measure the width and length of your table. We then suggest you sit at the table and measure from the top of the table to your lap. This will be a perfect tablecloth size for your table. Now add the desired drop twice to your table width and twice to the length for the correct size table linen.
For example, if your table 40" x 64", a 56" x 80" tablecloth size will give a beautiful, even 8" drape all the way around.
Another example - If the table is a 48" round, a 64" round tablecloth size will give an 8" drop. To cover this table to the ground, if the table is 29" height, 106" round is the tablecloth size.
